About the client: This is a global company looking for specialists in connection with the ongoing implementation of a new HR and payroll system (Workday) as part of its HR transformation program.
The location is flexible with preference for the European Time zone.
The position is temporary until June 2025. Further opportunities in the operational team will be assessed in due course.
Requirements
Plan, schedule, coordinate, and deliver the IS project outcomes to time, scope, cost and agreed quality.
Define, with key stakeholders, the scope of work, cost/budget, resources required, time schedule, and detailed work allocation.
Coordinate and prioritize project tasks, manage timelines, maintain project plans, and communicate status to key stakeholders
Define, jointly with key stakeholders, all project documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans
Effectively organize, monitor and control activities to ensure achievement of planned stage-gates and efficient utilization of available resources.
Monitor and control project cost and financials.
Identify, contain and reduce risk, and ensure that all opportunities are captured and acted upon.
Monitor and control the project management processes.
Ensure the successful close down of the project on project completion and the capture and documentation of lessons learned.
Execute IS project communication, report IS project performance against plan and expected business outcome
Business value realization through successful project delivery and implementation and stakeholders satisfaction with the project outcomes.
Keep up to date and informed about any change in strategy, and is consulted regarding any incident or other project which has, or might have, a major impact on the project.
Serve as the key contact for the project stakeholders, and an escalation point for project issues.
Define project governance: Steco, opco, reference team. Ensure projects follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard internal directives and procedures
Lead the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and/or external re-sources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
Technologies
Degree in Information Management, Computer Systems, Business Engineering or similar.
Proven experience in IS Project Methodology, IS Project Governance Model and Agile Project Management.
ITIL 4 foundation certification is desired. Workday integrations certifications required
Experience implementing and supporting different HRIS systems or enterprise applications required.
Outstanding influencing skills to drive transformation across the whole IS community.
Strong proven project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved in them
Fluent spoken and written English. Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence and coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues.
Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to build effective working relation-ships with all stakeholders.
Experience with increasing complexity, budget and business risk level
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables. Record of successful delivery of products with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodology, optimally within a global corporation environment.
Hands-on skill or prior exposure to Nonviolent Communication (NVC; or its equivalents) highly desired.
IS Project Management toolbox experience. Strong communication and people management skills. Experience in financial management and controlling for the projects.
Proven track record of technical background in software and/or infrastructure design, development and cloud implementation. Ability to consult service line management with technical advice
Ability to direct and to drive an external/vendor team of developers.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous deliverables. Enthusiasm for making the technology experience enjoyable and productive
Strong communication skills, ability to listen, advise, empathize, explain. Enthusiasm for continuously improving the IS experience, making it more enjoyable and productive for consumers.
